Vienna-based Speedinvest's first Africa-dedicated vehicle, targeting US$230 million (โฌ200 million) and anchored by a โฌ40 million commitment from EIB Global. It backs seed and Series A fintech and fintech-enabled companies across payments, lending, health, education and mobility, in both North and Sub-Saharan Africa. Reported as the largest Europe-to-Africa institutional venture commitment in recent memory.
