Status (20 Aug 2026): applications for the 2027 edition closed on 16 June 2026; monitor the next edition. Each region awards US$100k, US$60k and US$30k to first, second and third place. Africa has Francophone Sub-Saharan, Anglophone/Lusophone and Middle East/North Africa categories. The for-profit business must generate US$50k–US$5m annual revenue, employ 5–250 people, have raised no more than US$2m dilutive funding, and be founded, majority-owned and led by the woman applicant.
