Status (8 Sep 2026): the 2026 cycle opened 23 January and closed 11 February 2026; a 2027 cycle is not yet announced - confirm with [email protected] rather than assuming a January window. Open to individuals or teams who are citizens or residents of any West African country, with no registered entity required. The idea must already be tested or in operation for one to three years and fit one of four themes: AI for Good, Climate Tech, Social Good, or Advocacy and Movements. 15 solutions are selected. Benefits: monthly stipend (amount undisclosed), technical, product and legal support, mentorship, and a paid trip to the West Africa Civic Tech Conference.
