Status (8 Sep 2026): applications are open through the site. Award: €250,000 to €500,000 initial equity funding, typically targeting around 5% ownership when leading, with co-investment at other terms. Important limitation: the programme primarily supports founders from EU27 countries, EU candidate countries and the UK, and states it will support only 'a handful of high-potential companies outside Europe' - so African applicants are eligible but competing outside the core mandate. Norrsken does operate a Norrsken House in Kigali. Portfolio companies report a 75% follow-on funding rate.
