Status (20 Aug 2026): ongoing through the NYDA portal and branches; the official page publishes no annual deadline. Applicants must be South African citizens/residents aged 18β35, attend business-management training, make a 10-minute pitch and pass due diligence and credit checks. Cumulative funding is generally capped at R200,000, with up to R250,000 for eligible agriculture, technology and cooperative projects. Applications are processed at a branch and can take 30 working days plus disbursement time.
