Status (8 Sep 2026): the inaugural EmFi (embedded finance) series selected 15 startups from more than 500 applicants in July 2026, drawn from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Togo, Uganda and Zambia. Renew Capital operates across 13 countries from Ghana to Zambia. Future series are expected but themes are announced per cohort.
