Status (8 Sep 2026): applications are accepted on a rolling basis with quarterly cohorts - the first intake was May 2026 and subsequent groups follow every three months, so a window is normally close. Selected startups join the timbuktoo Pan-African Incubation Network of incubators, innovation hubs, mentors and investors. Focus: solutions strengthening agricultural productivity, food systems, farmer incomes and climate-resilient agriculture. timbuktoo-incubated startups can unlock 1:1 matching funds from Catalytic Africa alongside business angel investment.
