Status (8 Sep 2026): no verifiable round since the eighth, whose awards were announced in May 2024 (US$134,000 to 10 initiatives from 130 applications). No 2025 or 2026 call exists on cipesa.org and the fund page still carries an old 'open' notice, so its status label cannot be trusted - treat as watch-only. Award: US$1,000 to US$20,000, grant period up to 10 months. Registration is a preference, not a bar: unregistered organisations and coalitions may be considered if they can evidence being operational in an African country.
