Status (8 Sep 2026): there is no application portal. Mulago's own FAQ answers 'how do I apply' with 'You don't' - it relies on a referral network built over 20 years. The published cycle sources July to October, screens October to January and selects in early 2027. Award: US$200,000 unrestricted for non-profit fellows, or restricted to charitable purposes for for-profit fellows. Expects a legally established entity or one in formal registration.
